Primary School Chinese Tuition
Build a stronger Chinese foundation from Primary 1 to Primary 6. Beijing Language School provides MOE-aligned Primary Chinese classes that help students strengthen their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills with greater confidence. Our lessons are structured around key textbook knowledge, guided practice and level-appropriate support, helping children improve steadily across vocabulary, comprehension, oral expression and writing.

Lower Primary Chinese Tuition
The lower primary years are where students build confidence with Chinese as a daily language, not just a school subject. For parents looking for lower primary Chinese tuition in Singapore, our Primary programme helps younger learners strengthen vocabulary, sentence structure, reading confidence, oral expression and guided writing through MOE-aligned classroom support.

Questions Parents Often Ask
How do I know which Primary Chinese programme is suitable for my child?
➔
If your child needs help with the main school syllabus, the Primary Level Course is a suitable starting point. If writing is the main concern, the Primary Composition Course offers more focused support. If your child is taking Higher Chinese, the Higher Chinese Primary Course provides more advanced language guidance.
Is Primary 5 or Primary 6 too late to start Chinese tuition?
➔
No. Upper primary is still a useful stage to strengthen weaker areas before PSLE, especially in comprehension, oral expression and composition. The focus should be on identifying learning gaps early and giving your child consistent practice.
What if my child understands Chinese but struggles to write compositions?
➔
This is common. Some students can understand spoken or written Chinese but find it difficult to organise ideas, use better phrases or structure a full composition. In this case, a focused composition class may be more suitable than only general syllabus support.
What if my child lacks confidence speaking Chinese?
➔
A supportive classroom environment can help students become more comfortable using Chinese gradually. Regular oral practice, guided responses and teacher encouragement can help children speak with more confidence over time.
Should my child join a standard Primary Chinese class or a composition-focused class?
➔
Choose the standard Primary Chinese class if your child needs broad support across vocabulary, comprehension, oral and writing. Choose the composition-focused class if writing is the main weakness or if your child needs help expressing ideas more clearly.
Does my child need tuition if school results are still okay?
➔
Tuition is not only for students who are failing. Some parents use it to build a stronger foundation early, prevent gaps from widening, or help their child handle higher expectations as they move from lower primary to upper primary.
