K1 is suitable for children aged 5 years old. During this stage, we will focus on enriching students’ vocabulary and improving their literacy skills. We will teach students to use the correct pen holding posture. Teachers will guide students to understand shapes, write individual characters, and learn preliminary pronunciation of single finals, initials and radicals in Chinese pinyin. In addition, teachers will also pay attention to students’ behavior, habitual cognition and cultivation.
The K1 teacher will lead the students to learn how to use the correct pen holding posture so that the students can learn to write Chinese characters and their names. During the learning process, students will be able to identify more vocabulary, improve literacy skills, and recognize Hanyu Pinyin. It is worth noting that completing Chinese homework after class is essential for helping students to reinforce what they have learned in class , which will lead to better word retention and mastery of the Chinese language, facilitating effective learning.
